What is
TruStrength/
Barre Intensity?

These classes combines attributes of Pilates, dance, and functional fitness training. We incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body to make every minute count. This results in a total body workout that leaves you mentally strong and feeling accomplished. Motivating instruction and music provide the fuel needed for not only an intense workout, but a fun one!


TruStrength/Barre Intensity is more than an exercise; it's a way of life. It's about strength and balance; it's about pursuing the connection between mind and body. This class is for those who set goals and push hard to reach them, but do so at their own pace and in their natural stride. It's about finding your greatest form and function; your own beauty and brawn. It's not about comparing yourselves to others, it's about reshaping from the inside out. 


Some equipment is required for these classes. You will definitely want a set of weights (5-12lbs for TruStrength; 1-3lbs for Barre Intensity) and an exercise mat. In some classes we spice things up with fun additional equipment like a barre/chair (Barre Intensity), loop-bands, booty bands, gliders/sliders, and pilates balls. No equipment? No worries! You can always do class without the props and still feel the burn!

Can you believe we can do all this while still having fun and listening to top 40 music, as well as old favorites? YES! We can!
